“100 people follow you”
Thanks everyone! :-D
This is combed Heather top in “Goldenrod” from Pacific Wool and Fiber on a spindle also purchased from Pacific Wool. It’s a very pretty color and drafts nicely.

The boyfriend asked me to knit him something. :-D
*Note: It won’t be a sweater, lest there be trouble in paradise.
Oh crap! I forgot about the sweater curse!
I made a scarf (Ravelry link) for a, uh, dear friend of mine. It was a surprise gift, so it sort of figures that…
Hahaha, maybe we better give socks a try?

weekendknitter asked: Thanks for the circle add! :) Otherwise, I still wouldn't even have known what that was for. I know. So sad, lol! Thanks again!
You’re welcome! I’m still getting acquainted with the ways of Etsy myself…
I experimented with the new hand cards last night. This is three different colors of Merino top that I picked up at The Weaving Works in Seattle’s U-District a few months ago. I blended them together into a pretty batt last night that spun up nicely.
Wool is wonderful.

The anticipation is killing me…
I’m at my day job, and I just checked the shipping status of my latest fiber-related order. It’s arrived at home, and I’m going to have to wait another 8.5 hours to go rip it open.
This is the first time that I’ve ordered from Pacific Wool and Fiber. I’m rather excited, as my new hand cards are in this order! This is the first fiber prep equipment that I’ve purchased. I also got some silk and bamboo fiber, as well as some dyed Merino top, so that I can experiment with blending and making my own batts right away. And of course, I had to pick up another drop spindle.
Pictures will be up as soon as I have my order!
theowlknows asked: Just wanted to say hello to a fellow spinner! Do you also work on a wheel? I stick with drop spindles myself.
Thanks for saying hi! I do not own a wheel, and currently use only drop spindles, too. But I have to say that I kind of love all my drop spindles…
Never leave home without wool. I happen to have some naturally colored Icelandic combed top in my purse today…
